A Dream in Progress***
Blog post 1 – 11 September 2015 Today marks part of a dream come true – my very first blog post. Yay* If you are reading this you are a part of this new journey. I am so excited to share it with you.
A big hello from me – Madelé – to you. I am a passionate 30 year old South African living in the United Kingdom, that tries to see the sunshine in every day. Even if it’s only for 5 minutes :D. I am a small town girl that grew up in Reddersburg (population 4886 ), Free State, South Africa and I will forever be thankful for that.
My love for writing and life and people and animals and cotton candy and bath ducks promise to bring some laugh along moments but also some reads that might be tear jerking. From time to time I will be doing some blog posts in Afrikaans as well and that comes from a place of patriotism and deep emotional connection with my language, that is an integral part of who I am.
I have no idea what might be waiting around the next corner. How amazing is it that life offers us these surprises free of charge. I am a Christian and belief that who I am, am solely from the One that created me so perfectly imperfect to keep me humble and humane.
My sincere wish is that you will come along on this journey and find some proof that “normal” is only a setting on a washing machine. Together we can use our individual quirkiness to BE the change that we want to see in this world.
The online shop will launch within the next couple of weeks and you will love the amazing products on there. Spoils for the lady, baby, brother and lover. I will keep you posted on the progress and when you can start shopping. ;)
Please follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to make sure that you don’t miss anything. You will find the links to these social media platforms just below this post.
